So many people in my area stop over without calling, I don’t know what it is. One minute I’ll be watching my stories on my direct tv brownsville and the doorbell will ring and it will be Sandy with a pie or Julie wanting to take a walk. I guess I should be flattered that so many of my lady friends like to spend time with me but for now it’s just a hassle since I’ve been recovering from a long illness and really just want to take some time to heal. I really need to veg out at home with the TV on and a good book and not think too much about whether or not I’m letting anyone down or being rude and when I have to play host it really makes me think about whether or not I’m doing a good job keeping up my face. It’s just hard right now with the recovery and I don’t want anyone to think I don’t like them because of my illness!

Have you ever noticed on amazon all of the items that are grossly overpriced. Who would spend $600 on a garbage can made by rubbermaid? I don’t get it. Why would they even allow for something like that to be there on their site. It takes away from the site because then you have to wonder about all the other 3rd party vendors trying to rip you off.

Gibson Les Paul

If you are going to take guitar lessons then you need a good Gibson Les Paul Studio to take those lessons from. A good music teacher makes all the difference in the world on now only how much you learn but also the way you play and how much you like the instrument. I have had good teachers and bad teachers when it comes to music lessons and finding that great enthusiastic teacher that really knows how to teach makes all the difference in your musical outcome.

There is something about that kids show on PBS that I just can not stand. The kids voice is very whinny and I don’t like how he acts. That show is not teaching kids anything other than to be a whinny little brat. And why does everyone have hair and he doesn’t? I think it is the voice more than anything that really annoys me.

Finding the Right Cigar

I am not one for cigars. But there are many people out there that love Davidoff cigars. And they do make for nice gifts and even come in a nice box to present it as well. My uncle loves cigars. It started out as a past time once in a while but as will every good addiction – he now smokes them all the time. And he likes trying new ones out too…the flavored ones and the specialty ones. Of course he has his favorite but if you don’t try new things things then you will not know if you like them. Sometimes it is just nice to get and give gifts that you know specific people will actually use.

Metal Storage Cabinets

When it comes to storage…everyone needs more it seems. I have been looking at the wooden vs. the metal storage cabinets. Now the wood does look nicer but am I willing to pay for something that is really not going to be seen because it is going to be in a basement – just a cabinet to put things in to keep them organized. If it were going to be in a place where people would be seeing it then I would go with a nice wooden one but I am looking for affordable storage that is just going to do the trick. I just need to get more organized as most people do.

I find it amazing that women have multiple c-section and are still expected to cook and clean a week after major surgery but if a man has a little shoulder surgery – he is out for 2 weeks and can not even walk. I just don’t get it. Men are such baby’s and it is really starting to get to me. I mean really…I’ll baby you for the first 2 days but after that – give me a break. Get up and just don’t use that arm.

Apartments

When it comes to your home….of course you want to be in a place that you enjoy being in and that is affordable to you. And some people just do not want the hassle of the responsibilities of a house. There is the lawn, the snow removal, the utilities, the water, the general maintenance….people sometimes just do not have time nor do they really want to have to deal with this. Not to mention that you are probably going to pay more a month with that mortgage.

In todays economy it seems to be that places like the Calgary apartments are the way to go . They are affordable and they are so nice and you don’t have to worry about all the stuff you would if you were trying to find that home to buy. And if you don’t have that big family then an apartment is definitely the way to go especially to save money.

Ebay Dvd’s

So, I was looking for a disney dvd but as everyone know … Disney put their dvd’s in the “vault” so you can not find them in the stores. And of course my niece would like to have something that is in the “vault”. So, I went to ebay to try to find something reasonably priced for a silly cartoon dvd. You just have to be careful that you get something that is completely new and not bootlegged on ebay!

TV Mounts

When it comes to TV….tv mounts are really great! Most TV’s are now flat screens and by simply mounting it you can create so much more space in the room. And with another person it is pretty easy to mount it. I mounted my TV by myself but it is only 19 inches. But for the bigger TV’s that are out there – with 2 people it would be easily doable. Many people just don’t have a lot of space to waste in a home so this is a great way to create more space by simply mounting it to the wall.

Used Bike

I am not one for biking outdoors but my brother gave me a used stationary bike that he got a few years back from his friend. Now mind you…this is quite old and is no where nice compared to the ones that you can buy new today…but who has the money for that! Anyways I put it in the cellar next to the washing machine and I just ride listening to music until the wash is done. Great workout!

I have a pretty good life here in East Providence. I grew up here, and have never lived anywhere else. Some people would think that was boring, but to me it’s pretty nice. I can’t imagine my life without my family and friends, and I’m grateful for all I have. I opened up a little café last year and things have been going great so far. I have a lot of regular customers, and my family and friends come hang out with me sometimes too. The only complaint I have gotten from everyone is that I don’t have free wireless access. I really want to make all of my regulars happy, so I figured I needed to bite the bullet and provide them with free wireless. I searched East Providence Clear internet and found great prices. I’m having it hooked up next week and I can’t wait to see the results. I’m sure I’ll be able to get more people in now that they know they can hang out and work at the café. I’m looking forward to all of the business growth possibilities that this new service will give me.

Beeswax

I am getting rid of all of my yucky $1 candles…well, not getting rid of them because you never know when you need them in an emergency but I am going to get beeswax. I read that it will help purify the air and help release negative ions in the air. And not to mention that it really smells quite sweet when they are lit. My husband got one for me last year and I still have it and use it. I don’t use candles all that often.

Backyard Chicken Coops

I have been looking at the backyard chicken coops for around 6 months now…I really want to get one and I can not believe all the people that are looking to get these as well. I thought I was the only one but there are quite a few that are looking to get chickens. It is great because you will aways have eggs and then you can always have chicken as well. There are so many really fabulous ones to choose from too…I mean coops that look better than my house…like little castles almost!

Chapped Lips

Chapped lips are the worst – in fact I find that I have chapped lips the worst at night. I am constantly putting on chap stick which is great to relieve the problem and the symptoms but it is not going to fix the problem. If you have chapped lips then chances are that you are dehydrated and you need to drink more water so that this will not happen. Fix the problem don’t just mask the symptom.
