I am actually taking a course online and I just love it. Sometimes there are just days that I can not go online to do my course work…well, the class that I am taking right now doesn’t require me to log on every day…I just have to finish the class in a certain amount of time. And then there are other classes where I just have to have the assignment done by a certain time. And there are so many courses that you can take online these days and not only are their courses but you can also get certificates and even degrees. You can check out WaldenU.edu for more information and keep in mind that you can also look into getting scholarships as well. More and more people these days are looking into programs from places like Walden University because it really does accommodate to your hectic and busy schedule and if you have children it is near impossible sometimes to take that course to help further your career. Not to mention that online classes save time and money! Filed under: Education Comments: Comments Off |

I have seriously been considering changing my profession. I think that everyone needs a career change but right now I don’t have the luxury of switching jobs. However, I do have the luxury of getting a degree while working. Even if you work full time and you have a family to take care of you can go get that online marketing degree without having to go off to a college to sit in classes. You can do all of your course work right online and get that reputable degree that can help get you the career you want. Getting that online marketing degree just got that much easier..now there is no excuse to further your education! Filed under: Education Comments: Comments Off |

Thanks for the post from Lynn Guy When I enrolled in college at the age of forty my family thought that I was nuts. This was something that I should have done when I was still young, not now. However, I had to prove to myself that I could do it. It had been a lifelong dream and I was bound and determined to do it. As an old timer, I have to admit that I did pretty good. I only had one class that gave me a lot of problems. It was a social economics class and one of the studies that we had to do was on the directstartv shows that the world watches. They wanted to know why we liked them as a population. This is where my DVR came in to play. I used it to record certain popular shows such as Seinfeld and Little House on the Prairie. Once recorded I could play them back and analyze them bit by bit. I could watch all of the characters one by one and listen to their comments. I quickly brought my failing grade up to a B and passed the class with semi-flying colors. I never would have thought that my DVR would help me with my college education. The kids have started schools which means that now you are going to get bombarded with a ton of ridiculous projects that really do not amount to anything but spending a lot of money on the look and presentation. Which is just teaching the kids that presentations and looks really do matter…So, you are going to need to get those cardboard displays and tons of construction paper. Time to start thinking about how you are going to make that shoebox diarama this year and the clothes hanger mobile. Or you can think outside of the box and do more creative things – that is if the teacher lets you. Some teachers do not allow anymore creativity than what they are limited to think of.
