When it comes to certain rooms in your home I think that modern furniture just looks so nice in the family or living room of the house. I think different rooms should have different feels. I like the country feel in the kitchen and the dining room to have that romantic and elegant furniture. But the living room is nice to have that up to date and contemporary furniture. It gives your home many different looks which is nice.
